ACS was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 10 Nov 2003.

ACS received an award from Frost & Sullivan, an independent market and consulting research organization. Known as the "Growth Strategy Leadership" Award, the recognition was bestowed upon ACS for its exceptional growth strategy within the smart card industry.

ACS received major international acclaim by being ranked by Frost & Sullivan as the world's no. 4 and Asia Pacific's no.1 supplier of PC-Linked Smart Card Readers. ^ 

ACS launched its first smart card reader with built-in PIN-Pad and display, ACR50, which supports two smart card slots and two SAM card slots. Ideal for handling highly secure transactions that require verification, ACR50 was certified as one of the official readers for the e-Health project in Taiwan.

ACS supplied over 100,000 units of the ACT30 SIM-sized smart card reader to PCCW, the largest telecom company  in Hong Kong. With the ACT30, PCCW mobile phone subscribers were able to use their computers for backing up phone book and SMS records stored in their GSM SIM cards.
