ACS was awarded the "2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Machinery and Machine Tools Design Certificate of Merit" for its eH880 e-Health Smart Card Terminal. The judges cited that eH880 terminal by ACS was "a secure smart card terminal dedicated to the e-Health market."

ACS was named one of Forbes Asia's "200 Best Under a Billion" companies in 2010. The list was composed of the top 200 small and midsized enterprises with revenues of less than $1 billion.

The eH880 e-Health Smart Card Terminal by ACS proved its competitiveness once again, as it was shortlisted for the first ever Asian SESAMES Award  by CARTES in Asia.  The Asian SESAMES Award aimed to reward the best technological innovations developed for the Asia Pacific market in the field of smart cards, digital security, identification, secure transactions, Internet of Things, and contactless technologies.  The jury members, all industry professionals, chose eH880 to be one of the final five contenders.

ACS conducted the first ever basic smart card training in the Philippines from 25 to 26 May, 2010 in Manila. Mr. Keng Boon Tan and Mr. Andrew Chan, ACS Chief Technology Officer and Product Development Manager respectively, shared their expertise on smart cards and related technologies to over 22 participants from 15 companies in various Philippine and Southeast Asian industries.

ACS launched the APG8201 PINhandy1 and APG8202 PINhandy2 OTP generators which are both designed to provide banking customers with an easy solution to securely manage their online banking accounts. Both devices are compliant with major international standards, namely ISO 7816, EMV Level 1, MasterCard® CAP, MasterCard® PLA and Visa DPA.

The ACR122 NFC Contactless Reader was chosen for Octopus’ newly implemented PC Reader Service, which enables Octopus cardholders to check their card balances and 10 most recent transaction records in their PC via Octopus’ online service.
