Spending a year of efforts, ACS completed its first smart card reader, ACR10, which can support common memory cards in the market. It is in serial (RS-232) interface and can be mounted in a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive bay.

Besides the smart card reader, ACS also developed its own smart card COS and launched its ACOS1 microprocessor-based smart card. It has 1K EEPROM and is compliant with the ISO7816-1/2/3, T=0 protocol. It also supports DES and MAC capabilities.
